The Dutch Healthcare Institute announced rounds 7 and 8 for submission of applications for the Promising Care subsidy scheme
The Promising Care subsidy scheme aims to speed up the patient's access to potentially promising care through temporary inclusion in the basic insurance package. A maximum of €69 million is available annually.
The first step for applying for a grant within the Promising Care subsidy scheme is submitting a project idea that substantiates the purpose and relevance of the research project. If the project idea is accepted, the independent advisory Committee invites these applicants to submit grant applications for the accepted project ideas.
There are two application rounds per year for the Promising Care subsidy scheme:
- The period for submitting a project idea within round 7 (the first round of projects to be awarded in 2023) of the subsidy scheme for promising care will be opened from February 1, 2022, until April 5, 2022. Accepted project ideas will be announced not later than July 29, 2022. Applicants whose project ideas are accepted can submit a grant application until September 29, 2022;
- The period for submitting a project idea within round 8 (the second round of projects to be awarded in 2023) of the subsidy scheme for promising care will be opened from July 5, 2022, until September 20, 2022. Accepted project ideas will be announced not later than January 16, 2023. Applicants whose project ideas are accepted can submit a grant application until March 16, 2023.
