The procedure for assigning case data to a DRG is described in the definition manual. In order to promptly prepare the tariff negotiations between hospitals and health insurers, they provide the definitions manual and SwissDRG 8.0/2019 Grouper in different versions, which are able to group case data according to different classifications and according to the grouping logic of version 8.0.
Furthermore, the details and case studies on the rules and definitions for billing cases in accordance with SwissDRG and TARPSY have been updated.
