Reimbursement summary for angioplasty of arteries of lower extremities

Plain balloon angioplasty is reimbursement via DRG solely and DCBs are reimbursement via combination of DRG and add-on reimbursement.

The catalogue version of Swiss DRG 8.0/2019 has been published

The procedure for assigning case data to a DRG is described in the definition manual. In order to promptly prepare the tariff negotiations between hospitals and health insurers, they provide the definitions manual and SwissDRG 8.0/2019 Grouper in different versions, which are able to group case data according to different classifications and according to the grouping logic of version 8.0.

Furthermore, the details and case studies on the rules and definitions for billing cases in accordance with SwissDRG and TARPSY have been updated.

Here is the list of other publications coming in the following months:

  • Planning version (2017/2019) based on CHOP 2017 and ICD-10-GM 2016 codes is out on June 29, 2018
  • Planning version (2018/2019) based on CHOP 2018 and ICD-10-GM 2016 codes is out on August 24, 2018
  • Tariff version (2019/2019) based on CHOP 2019 and ICD-10-GM 2018 codes is out on November 30, 2018
