Plain balloon angioplasty is reimbursement via DRG solely and DCBs are reimbursement via combination of DRG and add-on reimbursement.

Additional subsidy round for Evaluation Research was opened in the Netherlands

In June 2019, the Dutch National Health Care Institute (Zorginstituut Nederland, ZIN) jointly with the Netherlands Organization for Health Research and Development (Nederlandse organisatie voor gezondheidsonderzoek en zorginnovatie, ZonMw) launched a program for evaluation and appropriate use of care (Zorgevaluatie en Gepast Gebruik, ZE&GG) by connecting all partners to a cycle of scheduling, evaluating and implementing knowledge about what good care is with further effective use of the available public funds as well as medical and nursing care available to everyone.

In October 2019, an additional subsidy round for Evaluation Research was opened on behalf of the ZE&GG program for diagnostics and follow-up/aftercare within both medical and nursing care. The submission deadline is on the 28th of November 2019.
