Reimbursement summary for angioplasty of arteries of lower extremities

This post presents an extract from our reimbursement analysis for angioplasty of arteries lower extremities using plain and drug-coated balloons (DCBs) for peripheral artery disease in England, France and Germany. Plain balloon angioplasty is reimbursement via DRG solely and DCBs are reimbursement via combination of DRG and add-on reimbursement.

Reminder: Deadline for submission of suggestions for change of DRG system in the Netherlands

Suggestions for change of DRG system will be accepted by Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) by 1st of June 2017.

Suggestions can be made by health care providers, health insurance companies and NZa itself. 

If accepted, changes will be implemented in 2019.
